Guide to ONE Championship’s Flyweight and Lightweight World Grand Prix
Demetrious Johnson and Eddie Alvarez are set to battle with some of the best of ONE Championship’s athletes in 2019.
The promotion announced the ONE Flyweight World Grand Prix and ONE Lightweight World Grand Prix late last year and the lightweight tournament is already underway.
The tournaments will pit eight of the best in each division against each other, and Johnson and Alvarez will feature.
It was expected that the current champions of the lightweight and flyweight divisions would feature in the tournaments, but Geje Eustaquio and Eduard Folayang’s are not competing in the tournament – and therefore the title will not be on the line.
