UFC 5 to include Fedor Emelianenko, Mike Tyson & Muhammad Ali as pre-order bonus 1

With EA Sports UFC 5 set to be revealed in the coming days, leaks have provided us with information about what we can expect from the highly anticipated game.

UFC 5 is scheduled for an October 27 release on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles only, according to leaks reported by reliable sources. On the cover of the Standard Edition is reigning featherweight champion Alexander “The Great” Volkanovski and former flyweight champion Valentina “Bullet” Shevchenko.

The Deluxe Edition will spotlight Middleweight champion Israel Adesanya in a cover that has received much better feedback than the other.

But that’s not the only surprise that’s waiting for UFC fans. Three legendary fighters will also be joining the roster this time around.

Legendary fighters join the roster

The game, just like UFC 4, will feature a dynamic roster that evolves post-launch, encompassing both current UFC stars and legendary fighters.

And here’s where the excitement truly begins: Mike Tyson, Muhammad Ali, and Fedor Emelianenko will be included in the game, but with a twist. These iconic fighters will be available as a pre-order bonus, adding value to early purchases.

Fedor Emelianenko, often referred to as the “Last Emperor,” is a revered figure in the MMA world. His inclusion in the game is a nod to his dominance in the PRIDE era and his legendary status in the sport.

Mike Tyson, the “Baddest Man on the Planet,” needs no introduction. His ferocious power and unparalleled boxing skills made him a global sensation, and his addition to the game will undoubtedly bring a unique flavor to the striking department.

Muhammad Ali, “The Greatest,” is a surprise yet delightful addition. Known for his charisma, quick wit, and unparalleled boxing prowess, Ali’s presence in the game is a testament to his lasting impact on the world of combat sports.

With the inclusion of these legendary fighters, players can expect unique fighting styles and movesets. Emelianenko’s Sambo-based ground game, Tyson’s devastating hooks, and Ali’s signature jabs and footwork will provide diverse gameplay experiences.

Gameplay Implications

For the first time in the series, EA Sports UFC 5 will carry an M for Mature rating. This shift is attributed to the game’s enhanced damage system, where elements like swelling and bruising accumulate with heightened realism as the bout unfolds.

Inside the octagon, players can expect a revamped fighting experience. UFC 5 boasts a plethora of new animations, enriching almost every facet of combat. From ground and pound elbows to body punches, spinning attacks, and the much-requested calf kicks, the game promises a more immersive and varied combat experience.

One of the standout features is the physics-based hit reaction system. This innovation ensures that fighters react more authentically to strikes, enhancing the realism and unpredictability of each bout.

EA Sports UFC 5 is shaping up to be a tribute to the world of combat sports. By including legends like Emelianenko, Tyson, and Ali, the game promises not only to provide thrilling gameplay but also to celebrate the rich history and legacy of fighting sports.
