Take a look at a leaked UFC 5 gameplay video below, showcasing the new TKO stoppages.

The video shows Herb Dean rushing in to stop the fight. However, the ground-and-pound animations look very similar to UFC 4.

Game Rating and Features

UFC 5 is taking a bold step this year. Leaks suggest that the game will carry a mature rating. This shift from a T for Teen to M for Mature rating is attributed to the game’s enhanced realism.

Developers have incorporated “more realistic aspects of damage” and have rendered injuries in greater detail. Additionally, the game will showcase blood pooling on the canvas, which has also contributed to its mature rating.

UFC 5 Cover Athletes and Controversy

EA Sports has officially announced that the cover athletes for UFC 5 will be the reigning featherweight champion Alexander “The Great” Volkanovski and the former flyweight champion Valentina “Bullet” Shevchenko.

The Deluxe Edition will feature Middleweight champion Israel Adesanya. However, the cover design has sparked controversy.

Fans have expressed disappointment, comparing the cover to mobile game artwork. This is due to EA Sports’ surprising choice to use character models for the cover instead of traditional athlete photographs.

As fans eagerly await the game’s release, they can look forward to a full gameplay reveal set to premiere on EA Sports’ YouTube channel on September 7.

The MMA community is buzzing with speculation, especially after Daniel Cormier hinted that the legendary former PRIDE heavyweight champion, Fedor Emelianenko, might be a playable character in UFC 5.
