UFC 246 Press Confererence: Conor McGregor, Donald Cerrone live updates
Conor McGregor, Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone, and UFC President Dana White will attend the UFC 246 press conference on Wednesday, January 15.
McGregor and “Cowboy” are now just days out from their main event clash at UFC 246 this Saturday, January 18, in Las Vegas.
The press conference commences at 8 pm ET and fans can watch the video livestream below.

McGregor starts the interview by saying that he hasn’t changed much. He’s still the same.
Conor McGregor says he hasn't changed much, but it looks to me like he's got a spirit of gratitude all fight week and before. Not that he was ungrateful before, exactly, but he's taking everything in this time for how special it is in a way he didn't before.

McGregor says that it’s hard not to respect Donald and that although blood will be spilled on Saturday, it won’t be bad blood.

Cerrone says: “We’re here to entertain and blow the roof off of this motherfucker.” He also shares that “you’d have to be stupid” to believe that McGregor has no defensive wrestling ability. Explains that it won’t be easy to just walk forward and take him down.

McGregor says he’d want both Kamaru Usman and Jorge Masvidal following UFC 246. He feels that the fight against Masvidal would be the more exciting matchup and points out that Usman has a similar style to Khabib Nurmagomedov — the ‘sniff the jockstrap’ style.
McGregor is now complimenting Cerrone’s python skin suit. This is like a mutual admiration society.

Cerrone acknowledges that McGregor brings the biggest paydays. McGregor replies by saying: “You’re welcome, Donald. You’ve earned that multi-million dollar payday.”
Dana White says that January is a typically slow month for the UFC. But with McGregor vs. Cerrone headlining UFC 246, it’ll help the promotion get off to a good start in 2020.
McGregor calls White’s comments that he is too small for 170 “outlandish” and that it “lit a fire under my belly.”
