Marwan Rahiki makes his UFC debut on Saturday at UFC Vegas 114, taking on Harry Hardwick in a featherweight bout on the main card. The fight takes place at the Meta APEX in Las Vegas.
Rahiki, 23, comes in undefeated at 7-0. He earned his UFC contract on Dana White’s Contender Series after stopping Ananias Mulumba with knees and an uppercut in round 2. He has finished every single one of his seven professional fights. Six of those were by KO or TKO, and one by submission.
He trains out of Lions Den in Sydney, Australia, and has been active, fighting four times in 2025 alone. He stands 5’8″ with a 72-inch reach and competes at featherweight (145 lbs).
Hardwick, nicknamed “Houdini,” is 31 years old and carries a record of 13-4-1. He is a former Cage Warriors featherweight champion, having defended that title twice. He stepped up to face Kaue Fernandes at UFC Paris last September on just five days notice, a weight class above his own. He was stopped in round 1 by repeated leg kicks.
Striking Stats
Rahiki lands 5.96 significant strikes per minute at 47% accuracy. Hardwick lands 2.39 per minute at 34% accuracy. Hardwick absorbs 7.16 significant strikes per minute, compared to Rahiki’s 6.10.
On the ground, Rahiki attempts 2.1 submissions per 15 minutes. Hardwick attempts 0.3. Rahiki defends 85% of takedown attempts against him, while Hardwick defends only 15%.
Keys to the Fight
Hardwick’s path to winning runs through his grappling. He is skilled at taking the back and has experience in longer fights. If he can avoid getting drawn into a striking exchange and survive the early rounds, he could make things difficult for Rahiki later on.
Rahiki’s takedown defense is not perfect, which gives Hardwick an opening. However, Rahiki’s durability was on display during the Contender Series fight, where he was dropped and hurt before coming back to finish.
Hardwick arrives at his natural weight class this time, which may help his durability. His debut loss came after stepping in on short notice, above his usual weight.
Both fighters are 5’8″ with nearly identical reach. Rahiki is eight years younger.
The bout is the second fight on the main card. Rahiki is favored at -275 across most books, with Hardwick at +235.
