Charles Johnson (-175) vs Bruno Silva (+145): UFC Vegas 114 Flyweight Fight Preview

Charles Johnson and Bruno Silva meet in a flyweight bout on the main card of UFC Fight Night 269, also known as UFC Vegas 114, on Saturday, March 14, 2026 at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas.

    Striking and Stats

Johnson lands 4.68 significant strikes per minute with 49% accuracy. Silva lands 3.82 per minute at 50% accuracy.

In terms of defense, Johnson absorbs 3.94 strikes per minute and blocks 56% of what opponents throw. Silva absorbs 4.55 per minute and defends 52%.

On the ground, Johnson takes opponents down 0.55 times per 15 minutes with a 20% success rate. Silva converts 29% of his takedown attempts.

    Recent Form

Johnson’s most recent fight was a first-round TKO loss to Alex Perez at UFC 324. Perez landed 55 of 94 total strikes in that fight.

Before that, Johnson scored a highlight KO over Lone’er Kavanagh in August 2025.

Silva’s last fight was a third-round rear naked choke win over HyunSung Park in October 2025.

Prior to that, Silva lost via TKO to Joshua Van at UFC 316.

    Odds and Picks

Johnson is listed as the favorite at -175 on DraftKings and as high as -185 on some books. Silva is the underdog between +145 and +160.

The over/under is set at 2.5 rounds, with the over priced at -188 and the under at +145.

MMA Junkie staff picked Johnson 8-2 over Silva. Most analysts expect Johnson’s footwork and output to keep him in control over three rounds.

Silva has knockout power and a physical pressure style that could cause problems early. But his gas tank and lower output have been concerns in longer fights.

The consensus pick among analysts is Johnson by decision, with the fight likely going past the halfway point based on the odds favoring the over.

Johnson is also a -185 pick at Doc’s Sports, where analyst Guy Bruhn sided with him.
