    Why is Conor McGregor still in the lightweight rankings?

    We are officially a day away from the UFC 257 pay-per-view event as Conor McGregor takes on Dustin Poirier in a lightweight headliner.

    It will be a rematch of their featherweight bout back in 2014 that saw McGregor knock Poirier out in the first round.

    However, “The Diamond” has improved significantly since ahead of what is a monumental matchup in the lightweight division which will more than likely determine who will fight for the title next.

    There’s a pivotal co-headliner as well as Michael Chandler makes his promotional debut against the always-entertaining Dan Hooker. The winner of that bout could certainly stake a claim to face the winner of the main event for the 155-pound strap.

    British fight fans can watch the event by ordering it on BT Sport Box Office for £19.95.

    Australian fans can order and watch the UFC 257 via Kayo Sports.

    The event takes place Saturday night with the main card kicking off at 10 p.m. EST/3 a.m. GMT. The main event is expected to start at approximately 12:00 a.m. EST/5:00 a.m. GMT but it ultimately depends on how the undercard goes.
