Two undefeated fighters will put their perfect UFC records on the line when Rafael Estevam faces Ethyn Ewing at UFC Vegas 115 on April 4, 2026. The bantamweight matchup features Brazil’s Estevam moving up from flyweight to face California’s Ewing in Las Vegas.

Rafael Estevam brings a 14-0 overall record and 3-0 UFC mark into the fight. All three of his UFC victories have come by unanimous decision, including wins over Charles Johnson, Jesus Aguilar, and Felipe Bunes.

In his most recent bout against Bunes, Estevam landed 128 total strikes compared to Bunes’ 38. He also secured five of nine takedown attempts in that performance.

However, Estevam has missed weight in two of his last three fights, including his most recent appearance. This weight issue has led to his move up to the 135-pound bantamweight division from flyweight.

    Ewing Enters as Betting Favorite

Ethyn Ewing holds a 9-2 record and is riding a nine-fight winning streak. He made his UFC debut with a dominant victory over Malcolm Wellmaker at UFC 322, taking the fight on short notice.

Against Wellmaker, Ewing controlled the striking, landed three takedowns, and defended all of his opponent’s takedown attempts. The performance immediately put him on the UFC’s radar as a rising prospect.

Most betting experts are picking Ewing to win the matchup. Five of five experts polled by Home of Fight selected Ewing, citing concerns about Estevam’s ability to control the grappling at the higher weight class.

Bovada lists Ewing by unanimous decision at +250 odds, while Estevam by unanimous decision sits at +300. The specific moneyline odds were not available in the early betting lines.

    Fighting Styles and Strengths

Estevam stands 5 feet 8 inches tall with a 69-inch reach. He is known for his well-rounded game and aggressive grappling, often securing wrist control and ankle picks to take opponents down.

From top position, Estevam looks to finish with ground strikes or take the back for submission attempts. His grappling success came largely from being a bigger flyweight, which analysts question will translate at bantamweight.

Ewing measures 5 feet 7 inches with a 69-inch reach. He employs efficient dirty boxing techniques, closing distance while weaving around punches to land his own strikes.

The California fighter excels at executing combinations before slipping back out of range. He plans to use clinch work and close-range strikes against Estevam, according to fight predictions.

Experts expect Ewing’s footwork and shot selection to be key factors. Austin Swaim from Home of Fight noted that Estevam “needed his weight bully wrestling to survive a dicey third round opposite Jesus Aguilar, and he straight up robbed Charles Johnson.”

Both fighters are considered dangerous on the ground, which may lead to a more cautious approach if the fight hits the mat. The striking battle on the feet is expected to be competitive and aggressive.

The fight takes place on the main card at the Meta APEX facility in Las Vegas. UFC Vegas 115 is headlined by a lightweight bout between Renato Moicano and Chris Duncan, who are teammates at American Top Team.

Estevam’s ability to make weight without issues will be watched closely after his recent struggles at flyweight. Ewing enters the bout looking to build on his impressive debut and continue his ascent in the bantamweight division.
