UFC 321 takes place Saturday at Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi with Tom Aspinall making his first defense of the undisputed heavyweight championship against Ciryl Gane. The main card starts at 2 p.m. ET on pay-per-view.
Aspinall enters the fight as a heavy favorite across multiple sportsbooks. BetMGM lists him at -425, while FanDuel has him at -430. DraftKings offers slightly better odds at -355.
The British champion last fought 15 months ago in July 2024. He defeated Curtis Blaydes by first-round knockout in a rematch of their 2022 fight, which Aspinall lost via TKO.
Aspinall was elevated to undisputed champion after Jon Jones retired in June 2025. He had been the interim champion and was pushing for a unification bout with Jones before the retirement announcement.
Gane comes into the fight as the number one contender with a record of 13-2. The French striker is a former interim heavyweight champion who captured that title by defeating Derrick Lewis in 2021.
His path to this title shot has been difficult. Gane lost his undisputed championship fight to Francis Ngannou by unanimous decision in 2022. He then suffered another title fight loss to Jon Jones in March 2023, getting submitted in the first round.
Most recently, Gane defeated Alexander Volkov by split decision at UFC 310 in December. That victory earned him another shot at the undisputed title.

Fight Predictions and Analysis
ESPN analysts Brett Okamoto and Ian Parker give the edge to Aspinall. They describe the striking as 50-50, with Gane being more technical and Aspinall more explosive. However, they point to Aspinall’s grappling and jiu-jitsu as the deciding factor.
Alexander Volkov, who has fought both men, called the matchup 50-50. He said the outcome depends on preparation and motivation. Volkov noted that Aspinall looks better on paper but acknowledged the fight could go either way.
BetMGM analyst Anatoly Pimentel predicts a TKO/KO finish for Aspinall within two rounds. He cited Aspinall’s one-punch knockout power and 100% TKO/KO finish rate as key factors.
Aspinall told reporters at the pre-fight press conference that he plans to let the fight play out naturally. He said he will take whatever opportunities become available and try his best to get the finish.
Gane acknowledged Aspinall’s strengths but expressed confidence in his own abilities. He said Saturday will reveal who manages to perform best in the situation.
Method of Victory Odds
Oddsmakers favor Aspinall to win by KO/TKO at +100. They give him +270 odds to win by submission. For Gane, the best path to victory is by KO/TKO at +500. His odds to win by decision are listed at +900.
The total round prop sits at 1.5 rounds. The under 1.5 is listed at -116, while the over is -108. A bet on the fight going the distance is listed at +490.
The co-main event features Mackenzie Dern against Virna Jandiroba for the vacant strawweight championship. This is a rematch of their UFC 256 fight, which Dern won by unanimous decision. Dern enters as the -155 to -170 favorite, while Jandiroba is listed at +128 to +140.
The prelims will be available on ESPN+, Disney+, FX and UFC Fight Pass starting at 10 a.m. ET. The main card begins at 2 p.m. ET exclusively on pay-per-view.
