Geoff Neal and Uros Medic meet in the co-main event of UFC Fight Night 267 on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at Toyota Center in Houston, Texas. The fight streams live on Paramount+, with both men expected to walk to the cage at approximately 10:10 PM ET.
Neal (16-7 MMA, 8-5 UFC) enters as the heavy favorite at -230. He is ranked No. 12 in the UFC welterweight division. His last fight was a knockout loss to Carlos Prates at UFC 319 in August 2025.
That defeat was Neal’s third loss in his last four fights. He has still competed against some of the top names in the division, including Ian Machado Garry and Shavkat Rakhmonov.
Away from the cage, Neal revealed a five-year battle with addiction. He has said he is now fully sober and has made major changes in his personal life heading into this fight.
Neal also nearly died from septic shock back in 2020. At 35, he is looking to regain his footing in the welterweight rankings with a win on home soil in Texas.
Medic (12-3 MMA, 6-3 UFC) comes in as a +176 underdog. The Serbian striker has won his last two fights by first-round stoppage, finishing Gilbert Urbina and Muslim Salikhov. His last three bouts combined lasted just 2 minutes and 37 seconds.
A Fight That Won’t Last Long
Medic has been stopped three times in the UFC. He has been dropped by the likes of Punahele Soriano and Matthew Semelsberger, raising questions about his chin against harder hitters.
Keys to the Fight
Neal is the more technically sound striker. He uses footwork and angles to draw opponents in before countering with power shots, including a sharp left head kick.
Medic comes out fast and throws full-power shots from the opening bell. His aggressive style has caught many fighters cold, but it can also leave him open to counters as the fight goes on.
For Neal to win, analysts suggest he avoid early exchanges, let Medic’s energy fade, then pick him apart. For Medic, cutting off the cage and using his reach with jabs and high kicks gives him the best path to victory.
Neal is listed at -135 to win by KO or TKO at BET99. Most analysts are picking Neal by knockout.
Medic’s last fight was a first-round finish of Muslim Salikhov at UFC Fight Night in Las Vegas on November 8, 2025.
