The Ultimate Fighter is back and the second episode of the new season will be available to watch on ESPN+ tonight in the United States.
The Return of the Ultimate Fighter commenced last Tuesday night with UFC featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski and #2 contender Brian Ortega each set to coach a team of bantamweight and middleweight fighters.
The Ultimate Fighter: Season 29 is now an
Season 29 of TUF consists of 12 episodes with new episodes dropping weekly every Tuesday.
TUF 29 Episode 2 Preview
Since Volkanovski’s team was able to choose a middleweight and bantamweight fighter before Team Ortega, the latter was also allowed to choose the first two fights of the season.
Ortega decided to match his team’s first pick, Andre Petroski, against Team Volkanovski’s Aaron Phillips in the debut episode.
The second fight of The Ultimate Fighter: Season 29 will be Mitch Raposo vs. Liudvik Sholinian and that takes place during tonight’s episode.

Alexander Volkanovski’s team elected to pick a fighter first, therefore allowing Brian Ortega’s team to pick the first fight. Volkanovski chose Mitch Raposo with the #1 pick of the fighter draft.

After Petroski defeated Phillips in the first round last episode, Ortega’s team now is now targeting Volkanovski’s top bantamweight pick, Mitch Raposo.
