UFC 254: Khabib vs. Gaethje

UFC returns to pay-per-view this Saturday, Oct. 24, with a fantastic main event bout that will see Khabib Nurmagomedov defend the UFC Lightweight Championship against exciting contender Justin Gaethje. The main card will start at the special time of 2 pm ET on Saturday and all of the fights will stream on ESPN+ PPV live from Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

Nurmagomedov (28-0), the champion, steps back into the cage for the first time since he defeated Dustin Poirier at UFC 242 in September last year. “The Eagle” is undefeated in his 28-fight career and is arguably the greatest pound-for-pound fighter in the sport today.

The 32-year-old will face Gaethje (22-2), who recently claimed the UFC Interim Lightweight Championship by defeating respected lightweight challenger Tony Ferguson in May 2020. Gaethje enters this fight on a four-fight win streak that represents the significant improvements he has made since toning down his perhaps overly-aggressive fighting style.

UFC 254 is an ESPN+ exclusive pay-per-view card and that means that fight fans in the United States are only able to watch the card by ordering and streaming the event on ESPN+.

Previously, fans were able to order fights via a traditional cable or satellite provider, but that’s no longer possible after ESPN secured exclusive rights to UFC broadcasts in 2019.

Every UFC PPV event — including UFC 254: Khabib vs. Gaethje this Saturday — can only be viewed on ESPN+.
