Amarsanaa Tsogookhuu defeats Shannon Wiratchai
Amarsanaa Tsogookhuu came out on top after a relatively uneventful three rounds. Shannon Wiratchai controlled the distance well but was unable to land his typically heavy-hitting blows. Tsogookhuu mixed in the occasional takedown – without much work from top position – to ultimately gain favor in the eyes of the judges.
Gina Iniong bullies Jihin Radzuan over three rounds
Jihin Radzuan was advancing from the very start of the contest but was cracked by a couple of heavy punches. Radzuan entered the clinch but found herself bullied by the stronger opponent, who trapped Radzuan in the corner.
Radzuan’s best moments came late in the third round where she worked to dominant positions. But it was too little, too late for the Malaysian.
