Danis and Taylor have a history that dates back three years. In November 2022, the two were involved in a physical altercation at a Misfits Boxing press conference. Danis showed up at the event and started a scuffle with influencer KSI, who was competing on that card.
As Danis left the venue, Taylor confronted him outside. Taylor landed a right hand during the chaotic scene, sending Danis stumbling back against a pickup truck. Security separated them before the situation escalated further.

Danis holds a 3-0 record in MMA with all three victories coming by submission. He won the Misfits MMA title this past August with a 15-second submission of Warren Spencer. The championship bout was contested at 180 pounds.
Before the Spencer fight, Danis had not competed in MMA for more than six years. His previous two fights took place under the Bellator banner. His last Bellator appearance came in 2019 when he submitted Max Humphrey in the first round at Bellator 222.
Return to MMA Competition
Danis gained recognition as a former training partner of Conor McGregor. He has built a large online following through his trash talk on social media platforms.
Taylor carries a 7-5 record in combat sports. The 36-year-old also competed in Bellator, where he went 1-2. He transitioned from MMA to influencer boxing in 2021.
Recent Fight Activity
Taylor appeared in multiple Jake Paul boxing events during his transition period. His most recent fight came in January 2025 when he faced former UFC fighter Darren Till. Till stopped Taylor in the sixth round by knockout at a Misfits Boxing event.
The December matchup will mark Taylor’s first MMA fight in five years. His last MMA bout was a majority decision win over Chris Avila in January 2020. He went 1-2 in his Bellator career before moving to the influencer boxing scene.
DeMoor brings a 4-2-1 professional boxing record into his fight with Tate. He won his most recent bout in September against Efrain Carranza Gonzalez by majority decision.
Danis will look to defend his title for the first time against an opponent he has unfinished business with from their 2022 encounter.
