DEEP 94 Impact brought the absolute fire to the Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, Japan this morning.
The main event was a stellar one, as RIZIN veterans did battle. Former DEEP bantamweight and flyweight champion Yuki Motoya (23-8) hoped to rebound following the loss of his bantamweight title last year. This would be no easy task, however. Standing across the cage from him was former DEEP featherweight and bantamweight champion Takafumi Otsuka (27-16-1) out of T GRIP TOKYO.
It was a title fight in the co-main event as welterweight king Ryuichiro Sumimura (14-8) looked to defend his throne against former champion Yuta Watanabe (22-9-4). Elsewhere on the card, former Tenshin foe Yamato Fujita (3-3) returned against Chikara Shimabukuro (14-15-6) as, coincidentally, another former foe of Tenshin Nasukawa in the form of Kizaemon Saiga (3-4) returned for his first MMA bout since 2017. Also, fighting out of Thailand, ONE Championship veteran Kritsada Kongsrichai (7-4) made his DEEP debut.
