PARIS – Michael Page completed his UFC contract with a unanimous decision victory over Nursulton Ruziboev at UFC Fight Night 287 on Saturday night.
All three judges scored the middleweight bout 29-28 in favor of Page at Accor Arena. The win extends Page’s winning streak to four fights and improves his UFC record to 5-1.
Page, who goes by the nickname “MVP,” now holds an overall professional record of 26-3. Ruziboev drops to 38-9-2 overall and 5-2 in the UFC.
Ruziboev Dominates Opening Round
Ruziboev wasted no time implementing his game plan in the first round. He immediately secured a takedown against Page and established top control.
Page attempted a buggy choke from the bottom, but Ruziboev escaped. Ruziboev maintained his position and landed several elbows while keeping Page grounded.
Page eventually worked his way back to the fence and stood up. Ruziboev kept him pressed against the cage until Page broke free and landed a couple of right hands and a jab before the round ended.

Ruziboev fell down while attempting a combination that Page dodged. He threw a leg kick and missed with a big overhand right.
Page used Ruziboev’s forward momentum to clinch again. When Ruziboev grabbed Page’s leg for a takedown, Page landed several punches while hopping backward.
Ruziboev eventually got the takedown, but Page reversed the position and stood back up. Page finished the round with a right hand followed by an upward elbow.
Close Third Round Seals Victory
The final round began with Ruziboev swinging big shots that Page avoided. Page then landed his best shot of the entire fight, a big right hand.
Ruziboev grabbed Page’s leg as he tried to punch his way out, putting Page on his back. Page stood up quickly, but the action paused when Ruziboev struck him with a low blow.
