Video: Sean O’Malley’s incredible walkoff KO at UFC 250
Sean O’Malley just recorded his second first-round victory in 2020.
The 25-year-old knocked out Eddie Wineland with a brilliant right cross just 1:54 into the first round.

Earlier in the fight, Wineland was using the smaller cage to his advantage, attempting to walk O’Malley back and close the distance. O’Malley circled well and would eventually settle into his striking comfort zone.
O’Malley missed with a spinning back kick and the fight appeared to be heading deeper into the first round, at the very least. But then O’Malley launched a right hand that instantly knocked Wineland out and sent him crashing into the mat.
UFC commentator Joe Rogan quickly exclaimed, “that may be the best walk-off knockout we’ve ever seen.”
We knew O’Malley was more than hype at this stage, but smoking Wineland like that is beyond impressive. Those 2 years in the gym is the best thing that happened to his career. The only thing I’ll ever give USADA credit for. pic.twitter.com/2mthQuIODW

Speaking to Rogan in the post-fight interview, O’Malley showed no emotion. When asked what’s next for the bantamweight star, O’Malley replied, “hopefully renegotiate my contract, like I was supposed to do last time.”
O’Malley moved to 11-0 with the win and is now 4-0 in the UFC since his debut in December 2017.
