Shooto 30th Anniversary Tour Final – Caol Uno dominates main event as Kuramoto takes Nezu to Suplex City

Yesterday morning, Shooto returned to the Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, Japan with a loaded Shooto 30th Anniversary Tour Final fight card.

To simplify the name, we’ll do what many do, and refer to the event as Shooto 1124 from here on out. The “1124,” of course, represents the date in which the event took place on; November 24.

There were no titles on the line, but the event featured plenty of big-time talent.

In the main event, former Shooto champion and 44-year-old UFC veteran Caol Uno was able to take out German regional titlist Markus Held with a second-round rear naked choke. The co-feature saw top-ranked undefeated bantamweight Kazuma Kuramoto win his seventh-straight fight as he dominated Yuta Nezu with an absurd amount of belly-to-back suplexes.

Elsewhere on the card, many prominent names competed. This includes former Pancrase champion Kiyotaka Shimizu and former DEEP title-holder Mina Kurobe, a RIZIN alum, and Japanese MMA pioneer Motonobu Tezuka. Check out the full results of Shooto 1124 below!
