Upcoming UFC Events 2022: Scheduled PPV and Fight Night events

The UFC schedule is well underway in 2022 with three events already in the books and three more to come in February.

This weekend, UFC 271, the promotion’s second pay-per-view event of the year, will take place at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas when Israel Adesanya steps back into the Octagon to face former champion Robert Whittaker in a UFC Middleweight Championship rematch.

UFC 271, just like all UFC PPV events, will stream exclusively on the ESPN+ digital streaming services. All UFC fight fans in the United States need an ESPN+ subscription to order and watch UFC PPV events.

Adesanya defeated Whittaker in October 2019 to claim the title and has since defended it three times by beating Yoel Romero, Paulo Costa, and Marvin Vettori. Adesanya also attempted to claim the light heavyweight title when he faced Jan Blachowicz in March 2021 but ended up losing via unanimous decision.

Whittaker has looked impressive in his last three outings since losing the title by defeating Darren Till, Jared Cannonier, and Kelvin Gastelum all by unanimous decision.

The UFC 271 fight card also features a heavyweight matchup between fan-favorite heavy-hitters Derrick Lewis and Tai Tuivasa.

Following UFC 271, the promotion is set to host two UFC Fight Night events at the UFC Apex facility with Rafael dos Anjos vs. Rafael Fiziev on February 20 and then Beneil Dariush vs. Islam Makhachev scheduled for February 27.

The following UFC 272 PPV event will be a highly-anticipated showdown between Colby Covington and Jorge Masvidal at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
