Islam Makhachev vs. Arman Tsarukyan
The plan from Arman Tsarukyan’s corner was to use kicks and give Islam Makhachev something new to worry about. However, the first round quickly turned into a high-level wrestling match. In the second round, Arman shot for several takedowns, but it was Makhachev who was able to string together back-to-back takedowns. Arman abandoned his striking success to attempt his takedowns. In the third, Makhachev was again able to secure two takedowns, land a head kick, and maintain a wrestling flow that gave him the win. However, it’s clear that Tsarukyan is going to be a fighter to watch in the future.

Krzysztof Jotko vs. Alen Amedovski
Throughout the first and second round, Jotko was successfully able to mix in takedowns to gain positions on the ground and burn out Amedovski’s power. Towards the end of the second round, he nearly finished the fight after working to the crucifix position and landing hard shots on a defenseless Amedovski. The third round was more of the same. After landing a takedown, Jotko was able to keep top position, threaten a submission and mix in enough ground & pound to win the fight.
