When is Makhachev vs. Volkanovski fight card?

UFC 284 is a pay-per-view mixed martial arts event set to take place on Feb. 12 at the RAC Arena in Perth, Australia. Despite the time difference, the event will air live in the United States on the night of Saturday, Feb. 11.

It’s the usual start time for UFC events in the U.S. with the early prelims kicking off at 6 p.m. ET on ESPN+. The prelims will follow shortly after at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN+ and ESPN.

The final five fights of the night will take place on the main card that begins at 10 p.m. ET only on ESPN+ PPV.

The main event of UFC 284 is a highly-anticipated UFC Lightweight Championship bout between current champion Islam Makhachev and current UFC featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski. This will be the eighth time in UFC history that champions from different divisions will compete for the same title. If Volkanovski wins, he will become the fourth fighter to simultaneously hold two titles, as well as the eighth fighter overall to win titles in different divisions.

The Islam Makhachev vs. Alexander Volkanovski start time will be just after midnight ET, following the rest of the four main card bouts.

In addition to the main event, UFC 284 will also feature an interim UFC Featherweight Championship bout between Yair Rodríguez and Josh Emmett, as well as a strawweight bout between Loma Lookboonmee and Elise Reed. However, other previously announced bouts such as a middleweight bout between Robert Whittaker and Paulo Costa, as well as flyweight and lightweight bouts, have been canceled due to various reasons.
