Brazilian UFC flyweight Allan Nascimento died Monday, August 3, 2026, at the age of 34. The Ultimate Fighting Championship announced that Nascimento was found unresponsive Monday morning after suffering an apparent heart attack in his sleep.
Medical teams responded to the scene but were unable to save him. Nascimento was pronounced dead at the scene despite their efforts.

His final fight took place on June 20, 2026, at UFC Fight Night 279 in Las Vegas. He lost that bout to Mitch Raposo by split decision.

Training Background and Teammates
Nascimento began training at the Chute Boxe Diego Lima academy in his hometown of Sao Paulo, Brazil, at age 15. The gym is known for producing top Brazilian fighters.
He received his nickname “Puro Osso,” which means “skin and bones” in Portuguese, when he first joined the academy. “When I joined my academy, I was extremely thin,” Nascimento told the website Sherdog in 2021. “I weighed nothing. As soon as people saw me, they called me ‘Puro Osso.’ The nickname stuck.”
His training partners at Chute Boxe included former UFC lightweight champion Charles Oliveira and UFC fighter Elves Brener.
Oliveira posted several tributes to his friend on Instagram following the news. “Today I lost a brother that the fight game gave me,” Oliveira wrote in Portuguese. “Thank you for always being there, for sharing the mat and the corner, and for your words. The Chute Boxe academy released a statement calling Nascimento “a warrior, friend, dedicated competitor and extraordinary human being.” The gym said he “earned the respect and admiration of all who had the privilege of knowing him.”
Fellow Brazilian UFC fighter Caio Borralho commented on the UFC’s Instagram post about Nascimento’s death. “He was one of the most kind fighters that’s I’ve ever met! Polite, good energy and always in good spirits! He will be missed,” Borralho wrote.
UFC Brazil reporter Evelyn Rodrigues also paid tribute. “One of the kindest souls I’ve ever had the privilege of knowing through MMA. Rest in peace, Allan,” she wrote.
