Adrian Yanez has a new opponent booked for UFC 334 at Madison Square Garden on November 14. The bantamweight fighter will face Juan Diaz in New York City, according to a report from Marcel Dorff.

Yanez is coming off a knockout victory over former UFC bantamweight champion Cody Garbrandt in July. That win snapped a difficult stretch for the fighter, marking just his second victory over the last three years.

    Diaz Brings Perfect Finishing Record

Diaz enters the matchup with a 16-1-1 record and a nine-fight winning streak. The bantamweight prospect has never been finished across 18 professional fights.

The newcomer made his Octagon debut in May with a submission victory over Malcolm Wellmaker. Diaz earned his UFC contract last year through Dana White’s Contender Series.

Yanez holds an overall record of 18-6-1 in mixed martial arts competition. His knockout of Garbrandt represented a crucial moment in his career after struggling with consistency.

    UFC 334 Card Taking Shape

The UFC has not officially confirmed any fights for UFC 334 yet. However, multiple matchups have been reported for the Madison Square Garden event.

Bilal Hasan versus Luis Gurule is another bantamweight bout linked to the card. Nazim Sadykhov versus Jefferson Nascimento has also been reported for UFC 334.

Madison Square Garden has hosted numerous UFC events over the years. The venue remains one of the promotion’s premier locations for major fight cards.

Yanez will look to build momentum with a second consecutive victory. A win over the surging Diaz could position him for higher-ranked opponents in the bantamweight division.

Diaz faces the biggest test of his career against an experienced UFC veteran. His unfinished record will be put to the test against Yanez, who has proven finishing ability.

The bantamweight matchup adds depth to the UFC 334 card scheduled for November 14. Both fighters bring different strengths into the cage for their MSG showdown.

Yanez has competed in the UFC since 2020 and built a reputation as an exciting fighter. His striking skills have produced several highlight-reel finishes during his tenure with the promotion.

Diaz will aim to extend his winning streak to ten fights with a victory. The young prospect has finished 16 of his 18 professional fights by knockout or submission.

The UFC 334 event marks the promotion’s return to Madison Square Garden. New York City has become a regular stop on the UFC’s annual schedule since the state legalized professional MMA in 2016.

Fans can expect more fight announcements for UFC 334 in the coming weeks. The promotion typically builds its Madison Square Garden cards with multiple high-profile matchups across different weight classes.
