The UFC returns to Australia with a highly-anticipated event, UFC 284, set to take place at RAC Arena in Perth on Sunday, February 12. With two titles up for grabs in the main and co-main event, fans can expect a night of non-stop action.

Fight fans back home in the United States can watch the UFC 284 fight card live on ESPN+ PPV at the usual Saturday night time, despite the timezone difference.

The main event features the first defense of newly-crowned lightweight champion Islam Makhachev against Australia’s reigning featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski. Makhachev, who holds an impressive record of 23-1, won the title last October with a submission win against Charles Oliveira. Meanwhile, Volkanovski, who has a record of 25-1, recently made the fourth successful defense of his 145-pound belt against Max Holloway and boasts a 22-fight winning streak.

The co-main event pits Mexico’s Yair Rodriguez against American Josh Emmett in a battle for the interim featherweight title. Rodriguez, who holds a record of 14-3, is the #2 ranked contender in the featherweight division and recently won his previous bout by TKO in the first round against Brian Ortega. Emmett, ranked #5 in the featherweight division with a record of 18-2, is coming off a split-decision win against Calvin Kattar.
