Max Holloway has made it clear who he wants to present him with the BMF title if he successfully defends it Saturday night. The champion wants his wife to wrap the belt around his waist at UFC 326.
Holloway faces Charles Oliveira at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas this Saturday. If he wins, he plans to ask UFC CEO Dana White to let his wife handle the belt presentation.
“The true BMF,” Holloway said Tuesday. “If you look at my shirt, the real BMF is my wife. I would love her to wrap the belt around me.”
Holloway made his feelings about his wife clear with a warning. “Everybody thinks I’m the BMF because of the title. You don’t want no smoke with her, I promise.”
"Islam is the next big thing" Max Holloway wants to test his skills against Islam Makhachev 👀🔥
"They asked me who you want to test yourself and test your skills against. I mean we missed the shot with Khabib, so Islam is the next big thing, so that'd be fun."

BMF Title Has Special Presentation Tradition
The BMF title has a short history but a unique tradition. Unlike regular UFC championships that Dana White typically presents, the BMF belt gets special treatment.
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson presented Jorge Masvidal with the belt in the first BMF title fight. Masvidal then presented it to Justin Gaethje when he won.
When Holloway defeated Gaethje for the title, UFC Hall of Famer Mark Coleman wrapped the belt around him. Rapper Lil Wayne presented Holloway with the belt after his first defense against Dustin Poirier.
Oliveira also has family in mind if he wins Saturday. “My father,” Oliveira said through an interpreter when asked who should present him the belt.
The challenger credited his parents for his career success. “The reality is if my father and my mother hadn’t believed in me and supported me, none of this would’ve ever happened. None of this would be possible.”
Holloway Pushes for Better Pay
Holloway recently made headlines for calling out UFC leadership about fighter compensation. After beating a UFC legend in his last fight, Holloway sent a public message to Dana White.
“Pay me!” Holloway said after the victory. The statement highlighted ongoing discussions about fighter pay in the UFC.
Holloway is also closing in on a new UFC record that could place him ahead of Rafael dos Anjos. The record would showcase his years of dominance in the sport.
The BMF title fight takes place Saturday night at UFC 326. Both fighters have their preferred belt presenters ready if they win.
Holloway currently holds the BMF championship and has defended it once against Poirier. Oliveira is challenging for the title after his own successful run in the UFC.
The event will be held at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Both fighters spoke to media Tuesday ahead of Saturday’s fight.
