Alistair Overeem (L) of the Netherlands and Andrei Arlovski of Belarus compete in their Heavyweight bout during the UFC Fight Night 87 at Ahoy on May 8, 2016 in Rotterdam, Netherlands.

    TLDR

    • Jack Doherty challenged Andrei Arlovski to fights after a scuffle at the Jake Paul vs Anthony Joshua boxing event in Miami
    • Doherty proposed his security guard face Arlovski one-on-one or a 3-vs-1 scenario with his friends
    • The altercation occurred in a hallway at the Kaseya Center away from the main event
    • Arlovski is a former UFC heavyweight champion who now competes in bare-knuckle boxing
    • Arlovski is scheduled to fight BKFC heavyweight champion Ben Rothwell in February 2025

Internet streamer Jack Doherty has issued multiple fight challenges to former UFC heavyweight champion Andrei Arlovski following a brief physical altercation at the Jake Paul versus Anthony Joshua boxing event in Miami on Friday. The confrontation took place in a crowded hallway inside the Kaseya Center, away from the main event cameras.

Doherty posted videos on social media over the weekend proposing two different fighting scenarios with the veteran MMA fighter. In the first video, he suggested his security guard could face Arlovski in a boxing match or fight.

“My security is down to box that Andrei guy in a fight,” Doherty said in the video posted on X. “So Andrei, you want to box or fight my security guard, let’s set it up and do it the right away.”

Doherty claimed both fighters would receive “the biggest paydays of your lives” while stating he would get all the money from the proposed event. He said he was involved because “I brought you back,” referring to the attention the incident generated online.

    Multiple Fight Scenarios Proposed

In a second video filmed while eating with two friends who were involved in Friday’s scuffle, Doherty presented another option. He suggested a 3-versus-1 or even 4-versus-1 scenario against the former champion.

“Or we can 3 vs. 1, Andrei,” Doherty said. “It will be all three of us in the ring. He doesn’t stand a chance.”

Doherty added, “I think all three of us can easily take him. Maybe we’ll 4 vs. 1 him.”

The streamer and his friends appear small in stature compared to typical combat sports athletes. His security guard appears to be heavyweight-sized, though it remains unknown if any of them have actual fighting experience.

    Arlovski’s Combat Sports Background

Andrei Arlovski has been competing professionally in combat sports since 1999. He held the UFC heavyweight championship and fought for the promotion more than 40 times during his career.

Arlovski is no longer under contract with the UFC. He has transitioned to striking-based combat sports competitions in recent years.

Arlovski has a scheduled fight coming up in February. He is set to challenge BKFC heavyweight champion Ben Rothwell at BKFC: Knuckle Mania 6.

Neither Arlovski nor his representatives have publicly responded to Doherty’s challenges as of Sunday evening. The 46-year-old fighter has not posted about the Miami incident on his social media accounts.
