Former UFC featherweight champion Max Holloway went head-to-head with Yair Rodriguez late last year in a fight that would determine who would emerge as the next title contender.
It was a close, competitive battle but it was Holloway who came out on top at the end of the five rounds. Holloway vs Rodriguez earned Fight of the Night honors, making it two in a row for Holloway following his impressive victory against Calvin Kattar earlier in 2021.
