Jo Sung-Bin training at Tiger Muay Thai in Thailand

Undefeated South Korean prospect Jo Sung-Bin has his first opponent.

According to a report by Rank5, the talented featherweight, who is currently 9-0, will be facing Daniel Teymur at UFC Fight Night 152 which takes place June 1 in Stockholm, Sweden. It is still not confirmed by the UFC, however.

Jo Sung-Bin only joined the Las Vegas-based promotion recently, and his accolades include being a champion at multiple promotions. The “Korean Falcon” most recently defeated Jun Young Hong via TKO in February last year to win the Top FC Interim Featherweight Championship. All of his wins are notably finishes with five KOs/TKOs and four submissions.

Teymur (6-3), meanwhile, might be looking at his last chance to remain in the UFC.

The younger brother of David Teymur, “Kid Dynamite” has lost all three of his UFC fights since making his debut in 2017. His most recent loss was to Chris Fishgold at UFC Fight Night 145 in February.

UFC Fight Night 152 will be headlined by a light heavyweight bout between former title challengers Alexander Gustafsson and Anthony Smith.
