UFC 245 takes place on December 14 in Las Vegas and has been stacked up with three title fights.
One of them is a highly-anticipated featherweight title bout between current champion Max Holloway and the red-hot Alexander Volkanovski.
Holloway is coming off a dominant decision win over Frankie Edgar back in July for his third title defense. Volkanovski, meanwhile, is riding high after back-to-back wins over Chad Mendes and Jose Aldo, and is adamant the “Blessed” era will come to an end in December.
Whatever happens, it promises to be an entertaining five-round contest and the opening odds can be viewed below:
- Max Holloway: -165
- Alexander Volkanovski: +135
Here are the opening odds for the pair’s last five fights:
Max Holloway last five fights
- vs. Frankie Edgar (W): -350
- vs. Dustin Poirier (L): -230
- vs. Brian Ortega (W): -140
- vs. Jose Aldo (W): -270
- vs. Jose Aldo (W): +100
Alexander Volkanovski last five fights
- vs. Jose Aldo (W): +145
- vs. Chad Mendes (W): +150
- vs. Darren Elkins (W): -160
- vs. Jeremy Kennedy (W): -210
- vs. Shane Young (W): -505
Holloway is unsurprisingly the favorite. However, Volkanovski has upset the odds in his last two fights and will be looking to make it three in a row by winning the featherweight title.
