Finally – RIZIN Fighting Federation is back! Tonight live on iPPV, RIZIN 22 goes down from the Pia Arena MM in Yokohama, Japan.
In what will be their first show since February, and show #1 of their back-to-back events this weekend, RIZIN 22 will see lightweight headliners Yusuke Yachi and Roberto de Souza do battle in the night’s main event.
The night’s co-headliner will see former champion Ayaka Hamasaki face DEEP JEWELS title-holder Tomo Maesawa in a contest with big-time atomweight title implications. One of two female fights on the show, the second of which will go down prior to the co-main event. This will see another former title-challenger, Kanna Asakura, welcome Mizuki Furuse to the RIZIN ring.
Elsewhere on the card, plenty more talent will be featured. This includes kickboxers Rui Ebata and Nadaka Yoshinari, as well as MMA fighters Erson Yamamoto, Shooto Watanabe, and Naoki Inoue, among others.
If you’re itching for some RIZIN – and let’s be honest, who isn’t – then you can purchase RIZIN 22 here. But be warned, you will have to work your way through some Japanese. But it’s 2020 and your web browser should make that incredibly easy.
