RIZIN 19 Weigh-In Results: All fighters on-weight ahead of Lightweight Grand-Prix
Tonight, live from the Edion Arena in Osaka, Japan, RIZIN Fighting Federation returns with a stacked RIZIN 19 fight card.
The card features a lot of prominent talent and is headlined by RIZIN light heavyweight champion Jiri Prochazka as he takes on former UFC fighter turned boxer Fabio Maldonado in non-title action. In the co-main event, Kai Asakura returns following a stunning first-round knockout of Kyoji Horiguchi. He takes on Japanese grappler Ulka Sasaki in a fight that was originally supposed to happen earlier this year.
The Japanese kickboxing brother duo of HIROYA and TAIGA return to take on Takuma Konishi and RISE World Series winner Taiju Shiratori respectively. Shooto Boxing star RENA returns to Japan to face a winless Spaniard in Alexandra Alvare. Japanese veteran Keita Nakamura makes a promotional debut against a fellow debutant in submission ace Marcos de Souza, and ROAD FC champ Seo Hee Ham takes on wrestling powerhouse Miyuu Yamamoto in an atomweight title-eliminator.

The RIZIN Lightweight Grand-Prix will kick off tonight as well with four quarterfinal match-ups. Wanderlei Silva protege Luiz Gustavo faces soccer kick connoisseur Hiroto Uesako, Australian brawler Damien Brown faces the well-rounded Tofiq Musaev, a surging Johnny Case faces a young finisher in Roberto de Souza, and Bellator mainstay Patricky “Pitbull” Freire makes his RIZIN debut against Japanese royalty in Tatsuya Kawajiri.
