WLC: King of Nine Limbs full fight card announced

The full fight card for WLC: King of Nine Limbs has been released, and it is being promoted as the greatest Lethwei event in history. It takes place on August 2 in Mandalay, Myanmar.

In the main event, “The King of Lethwei” Dave Leduc takes on 11 time UFC veteran Seth Baczynski for the vacant WLC Cruiserweight belt. Leduc enters the fight undefeated and has competed with some of the best in the sport such as Too Too and Tun Tun Min. Seth Baczynski featured on two seasons of the famous reality show The Ultimate Fighter, earning a UFC contract back in 2011. He holds notable wins over Matt Brown and Neil Magny – two serious contenders in the welterweight division.

Leduc spoke to The Body Lock about his upcoming fight, which happens to be his WLC debut, saying “he is going to be in a world of trouble.”

Muay Thai star Artur Saladiak defends his WLC light middleweight title against fellow Thai Kickboxer Sasha Moisa in the co-main event. Saladiak defeated Saw Ba Oo in 2017 to capture the title; this will be his first defense. Ukranian Sasha Moisa made his Lethwei debut in February, knocking out Shwe Yar Mann in the third round. This fight has all the ingredients to be the most exciting bout of the entire event.

French combat sports veteran Souris Manfredi will take on Eh Yanut, daughter of legendary Cambodian kickboxer Eh Phutong. This main card clash will be a monumental event for female Lethwei, with Manfredi making her competitive debut.

Also on the card is Mite Yine, who will be making his return to the sport after a 1-1 mixed martial arts stint in ONE Championship. The Burmese athlete will take on Otop Sathianmuaythai Gym from Thailand.
