Mike SkytteBy Mike SkytteDecember 15, 2019No Comments2 Mins Read

DEEP brought 20 fights to the Korakuen Hall this morning at DEEP 93 Impact.

In the main event, it was a trilogy fight between champion Koji Takeda and challenger Juri Ohara after their bout two months ago ended in controversy. Much like Takeda, DEEP megaton title-holder Roque Martinez was in search of his second title defense when he took on the local Seigo Mizuguchi.

After a multi-year UFC stint, the young grappling ace Naoki Inoue made his return to DEEP when he took on a 39-year-old veteran in Toshiaki Kitada. Elsewhere on the card, former DEEP middleweight king Tatsuya Mizuno, former DEEP bantamweight champions Takafumi Otsuka and Daiki Hata, and lastly, women’s mixed martial arts legend Satoko Shinashi.
