Aj McKee vs. Dominic Mazzotta

Max Holloway will look to further consolidate his place as the greatest featherweight of all time when he defends his title against Alexander Volkanovski at UFC 245 on Saturday.

For some, Holloway already holds that title. But a few more wins, especially against top contenders such as Volkanovski, will only make it unanimous.

His Aussie counterpart is undefeated in the UFC and coming off wins over Chad Mendes and Jose Aldo. Volkanovski is also extremely confident of getting the victory.

However, another featherweight in Bellator’s AJ McKee only sees the fight going one way.

“Holloway, man. Holloway,” McKee said when asked by theScore’s James Lynch who he had at UFC 245’s co-main event. “His striking is so far ahead of people, they don’t even know what he’s in there doing.”

McKee is clearly a fan of the Hawaiian.

The undefeated Bellator star is one of the top strikers in the sport today as well. He currently holds an undefeated 15-0 record and is set to face Derek Campos in the Bellator Featherweight Grand Prix quarterfinals next week.

Although his entire career has been with the Santa Monica-based promotion, McKee would love the opportunity to face Holloway in the future.

“That’s one of my dream fights, to fight Max Holloway,” he added. “He’s pound-for-pound striking-wise. He’s got great stand-up, man. He’s put people down. I feel like he doesn’t have too much of ‘knockout’ knockout power.

“But man, it’d be phenomenal to get in there and dance around with him. If you get caught slipping, Max Holloway will sit you on your ass. That timing and seeing [things]…he’s got it, you know what I mean?”
