Darren Till has confirmed his interest in fighting former UFC fighter Michael ‘Venom’ Page but revealed that Mike Perry remains his top choice for a future matchup. Till is set to face Yoel Romero at BKFC 94 on Saturday in Manchester, England.
When asked about a potential fight with Page, who recently left the UFC, Till responded positively. “Yeah, definitely,” Till said, adding that he knows Page is a very good fighter.
Till noted that if Page re-signs with BKFC and the fight gets scheduled, they would compete. However, Till expressed uncertainty about Page’s future plans, mentioning that Page does film work and might not fight again.

Perry Fight Called ‘Destined’ After Years of Rivalry
Despite his openness to fighting Page, Till made it clear that Mike Perry is the opponent he truly wants. In an exclusive interview, Till explained that he and Perry have been exchanging verbal attacks for eight or nine years.
“For me, the fighter I would chase after if I get through Yoel, would be Mike Perry,” Till said. “I think we’re destined to fight.”
Till believes a fight with Perry would be massive and generate strong pay-per-view numbers. He said the money would be on the table and the fight would send waves around the world.
Till also stated he would fight Michael Page and called him a big name and fantastic fighter. “I’ve always admired his striking,” Till said about Page.
Romero Faceoff Lasted Four Minutes
At the BKFC 94 press conference, Till and Romero engaged in a four-minute staredown that went viral. Till explained that neither fighter wanted to break eye contact first.
“I think it just got to that point where no one’s turning away,” Till said. He noted that Romero broke character first, speaking to him and chewing his gum hard.
Till added that he doesn’t focus on faceoff energy but wasn’t going to turn away. “I’m not going to turn away. I’m going to show you exactly what I’m here to do to you,” he said.
Till joked for years about wanting to avoid Romero while competing in the UFC. He admitted that Romero is a scary fighter but said real fighters aren’t genuinely scared of anyone unless they’re heavyweight Francis Ngannou.
Till described the Romero fight as potentially the most dangerous in bare-knuckle boxing. He said Romero is big, strong, doesn’t get hit often, and still has good cardio despite his age.
If Till wins on Saturday, he plans to make multiple callouts during his post-fight speech. “I’d just say everyone come here, all the guys from ONE FC, all the guys from PFL/MVP, get your ass over here and fight me,” Till said.
Till is focused on knocking out Romero in their five two-minute rounds fight. “If I see the openings or him lacking, I will pounce like a shark,” Till said about his strategy.
The fight takes place at the AO Arena in Manchester, marking Till’s return to action in his home country. This will be Till’s second bare-knuckle fight for BKFC as he continues his combat sports career outside the UFC.
