UFC lightweight fighter King Green revealed he is currently homeless and living out of his car despite owning multiple properties and competing professionally for 13 years.
Green, 40, made the disclosure during an appearance on Arnold Barboza Jr.’s Kick stream. He stated that while he owns nine houses, he allowed friends to live in all of them, leaving him without a place to stay.
“I got like nine houses, but I’m f***ing homeless right now,” Green said. “All my homies live in all of my homes and sh*t, so I’m f***ing living out of my car as we speak.”

Recent Breakup Adds to Housing Problems
The veteran fighter explained he had been staying with his girlfriend until they broke up just days before the stream. Green said he plans to find a new living situation after his upcoming fight at UFC 332.
Green also revealed he was robbed of $300,000 worth of jewelry during his last training camp. “It’s like it never stops with the f***ing bullsh*t,” he said during the stream.
The California native is currently on a four-fight winning streak heading into his October 3 bout against Esteban Ribovics in Salt Lake City. His most recent victory came at UFC 329 when he knocked out Terrance McKinney in the first round.
Best Friend Battling Leukemia
Green is also dealing with emotional stress as his best friend Amy fights for her life. He broke down in tears during training while on Barboza’s stream, prompting the former boxing champion to console him.
Green shared on Instagram that Amy was diagnosed with leukemia seven months ago. “Amy, I love you so much, thank you for giving me a family. Keep fighting, I don’t know what I will do without you,” he wrote.
In a video message, Green said Amy has been his best friend for 20 years. The diagnosis has weighed heavily on him throughout his current training camp for UFC 332.
Green has compiled a 36-17-1 professional record over his 13-year career in mixed martial arts. He has competed in 54 total fights when including his pre-UFC experience.
In 2022, Green lost to Islam Makhachev by first-round stoppage after taking the fight on short notice. Green later commented on the experience, saying Makhachev’s strength felt unlike any opponent in his career.
Makhachev went on to win the UFC lightweight championship and has defended the title four times. He is currently on a 15-fight winning streak.
Green previously fell outside the UFC rankings after losing to Paddy Pimblett at UFC 304 via submission. A victory over Ribovics at UFC 332 could help him return to the ranked fighters in the lightweight division.
Ribovics, known as “El Gringo,” enters the matchup with a 16-3 record and is looking to build momentum in his UFC career. The 27-year-old Argentine fighter is considered a rising prospect in the division.
