An undefeated prospect will make his UFC debut against a battle-tested veteran when Murtazali Magomedov faces Melsik Baghdasaryan at UFC Vegas 119 on Saturday. The featherweight bout will take place on the preliminary card at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas.
Magomedov enters the Octagon with a perfect 10-0 professional record and a 17-fight unbeaten streak dating back to his amateur career. The 26-year-old from Kyrgyzstan has finished every single one of his professional fights by stoppage.
His most recent performance came in September 2024 on Dana White’s Contender Series. Magomedov stopped Brahyam Zurcher via first-round TKO punch in just 1:37, earning his UFC contract with the impressive showing.
Baghdasaryan brings more UFC experience to the matchup with a 3-2 record inside the Octagon. The Armenian fighter owns an overall record of 8-3 and has five knockout victories, including four in the first round.
However, Baghdasaryan is coming off a difficult loss. Jean Silva stopped him via first-round TKO at UFC Seattle in February 2025.

Tale of the Tape Shows Clear Favorite
The betting odds heavily favor the undefeated newcomer. Magomedov sits at -310 while Baghdasaryan comes in as the underdog at +250, according to DraftKings.
The over/under for 1.5 rounds is set at -175 for the over and +135 for the under. These odds suggest oddsmakers expect an early finish.
Baghdasaryan last won inside the Octagon in July 2023, earning a unanimous decision over Tucker Lutz. Both of his UFC losses have come by TKO finish, raising questions about his defensive abilities against aggressive finishers.
Magomedov’s finishing rate sets him apart from most UFC debutants. His ability to end fights across multiple methods has made him one of the most talked-about prospects on the roster.
Main Card Features Flyweight Title Eliminator
The main event of UFC Fight Night will see second-ranked flyweight Manel Kape take on fifth-ranked Kyoji Horiguchi. Kape is the -148 favorite despite losing their first meeting in 2017, when Horiguchi won by submission.
Kape has won seven of his last eight fights, with his last three all coming via knockout. The 32-year-old fighter from Thailand is tied for the most knockouts in UFC flyweight division history with five.
Horiguchi, 35, returned to the UFC last year after a successful run in Rizin FF and Bellator. He has won both fights since rejoining the promotion and hasn’t lost in over four years.
Other bouts on the main card include Ion Cutelaba versus Navajo Stirling at light heavyweight and Andre Fili against Vinicius Oliveira. The preliminary card also features a flyweight matchup between Allan Nascimento and Mitch Raposo.
The six-bout main card begins at 8 p.m. ET on Paramount+ from the UFC APEX in Las Vegas.
