Former UFC champion Rampage Jackson gave Deen The Great a $20,000 Audemars Piguet watch during a Kick stream on February 19. The gift came after one of the worst weeks in the Misfits Boxing star’s public life.
“You took four Ls,” Jackson jokingly told Deen during the livestream. The comment referred to several viral incidents that left Deen facing ridicule across social media.
Deen was first slapped by powerlifter Larry Wheels over an incident involving Wheels’ wife. Days later, he was elbowed in the face by former UFC fighter Tiki Ghosn at a house party hosted by Jackson.
The Altercations That Went Viral
The Larry Wheels incident happened after Deen reportedly flirted with the powerlifter’s wife. The slap was captured on video and quickly spread online.
The second attack occurred at Jackson’s house party when Ghosn, who serves as Rampage’s longtime manager, elbowed Deen in the face. The incident was also livestreamed and viewed by thousands.
Ghosn compiled a 10-8-1 MMA record between 1998 and 2009. He fought against well-known fighters including Robbie Lawler and Genki Sudo during his career.
The former UFC fighter now manages several high-profile fighters. His client roster includes Dustin Poirier, Brian Ortega, and Mackenzie Dern.
To make matters worse for Deen, a clip from his 2022 Misfits Boxing debut resurfaced online. The video showed him attempting and failing a backflip, adding to the week’s embarrassments.
Why Jackson Gave the Gift
Despite the rough week, Jackson wanted to show his support for Deen. The former light heavyweight champion credited Deen with introducing him to livestreaming on Kick.
Jackson said Deen gave him a renewed sense of purpose after retiring from MMA. The 46-year-old fighter now streams regularly on the platform, showing fans his daily life.
Jackson’s streams routinely draw thousands of viewers. He has spoken publicly about past mistakes that hurt his own career.
Deen issued a public apology following the altercation with Ghosn. The apology came before Jackson presented him with the luxury watch.
The Audemars Piguet timepiece is valued at $20,000. Jackson presented it to Deen during the February 19 livestream as a thank you for revitalizing his streaming career.
