RIZIN Fighting Federation returned this morning with a jam-packed fight card – but they aren’t done yet. About 20 hours after Roberto de Souza took out Yusuke Yachi in the main event of RIZIN 22, the company returns with an even better card tonight in the form of RIZIN 23.
In the main event of the evening, the vacant bantamweight title will be on the line. Shooto champion and streaking RIZIN contender Hiromasa Ogikubo will face a former title-challenger in the form of Kai Asakura. The co-main event should provide similar fireworks when former DEEP champion Yuki Motoya faces an always dangerous slugger in the form of Mamoru “Fullswing” Uoi.
Elsewhere on the card, a kickboxing rematch between TAIGA and Kento Haraguchi, the return of Seiichiro Ito, Makoto Shinryu, Kaito, and Yusaku Nakamura. We can’t forget the promotional debut of former ONE champion Kotetsu Boku as he faces Jin Aoi at lightweight.
