This morning, live from the New Pier Hall in Tokyo, Japan, DEEP’s all-female league returned with a solid DEEP JEWELS 28 fight card.
In the main event, 23-year-old star in the making “King” Reina Miura (11-3) got a softball thrown at her courtesy of DEEP. The RIZIN alum faced a Thai who goes by Andre The Rocket (0-0) in what would be her first professional fight. In the co-main event, 23-year-old prospect Suwanan Boonsorn (4-3) faced Japan’s Emi Sato (4-4) in the opening round of DEEP’s ongoing Microweight Tournament.
Elsewhere on the card, Yasuko Tamada, Miki Motono, and Japanese idol Nanaka Kawamura competed in separate contests.
