UFC fighter Paddy Pimblett has criticized the ongoing feud between Dana White and Eddie Hearn, calling their hypothetical boxing match “the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard.” The beef between the two promoters has become a major talking point as Tyson Fury prepares to face Anthony Joshua on December 11.
Pimblett told All Out Fighting that while he thinks Hearn would beat White in a fight, the whole discussion is pointless. “As if Dana White’s going to have a fight with Eddie Hearn. It’s like the daftest thing I’ve ever heard,” he said.
Tyson Fury's manager Spencer Brown says he's unsure who's producing Fury x AJ:
“I think there's a few companies. Sela could be doing it in conjunction with another company, but I think Sela are behind all the production.

The Liverpool fighter said the back-and-forth between White and Hearn has worn thin with him. White has insisted he is playing a major role in the Fury vs Joshua promotion, while Hearn argues White will mostly be on the sidelines come fight night.
“It’s just stupid. It’s just very childish, isn’t it? But they’re going to keep going back and forth, so we need to get used to it,” Pimblett added.
WBA Title Added to Fury vs Joshua Fight
Frank Warren confirmed that the WBA ‘super’ heavyweight world championship will be on the line when Fury and Joshua meet at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff. The announcement came as a surprise since the WBA already has a ‘regular’ titlist in Murat Gassiev.
“That is the case at the moment. That’s going to be on the line,” Warren told Sky Sports News. “Whoever wins that, they’ve got a version of the belt and the objective, after Usyk vacated all the belts, is to find out who’s the best.”
Both Fury and Joshua previously lost their world title belts to Oleksandr Usyk. Now they have the chance to reclaim a championship they have both held before.
Warren is promoting the Daniel Dubois vs Fabio Wardley rematch on Saturday for the WBO heavyweight title. He would like to put the winner of that fight against whoever wins between Fury and Joshua next year.
Bruno Changes His Prediction
Former British heavyweight champion Frank Bruno has reversed his earlier prediction for the fight. Before the fighters’ recent tune-up bouts, Bruno said “old age is catching up with Tyson Fury” and suggested Joshua would have a good chance.
However, after watching Joshua get knocked down twice by Albania’s Kristian Prenga, Bruno told OOOSCH TV he now favors Fury. “I can’t see it because Tyson Fury is a very tricky customer, he can fight and once he fancies something, he is a dangerous guy,” Bruno said.
Bruno pointed to Fury’s resilience and skill as key factors. “Deontay Wilder was an animal and he had him under control, Tyson Fury. I have always rated Tyson Fury, he has got a lot more skill than a lot of people give him credit for and he has got a lot of bottle.”
Pimblett also leans toward Joshua winning the fight, citing Fury’s inconsistent recent performances. Fury has retired twice in the past five years and produced uneven results in recent wins over Mariusz Wach and Arslanbek Makhmudov.
“If you would have asked me a few years ago, 10 years ago, I think I would have said Tyson Fury,” Pimblett said. “But now, I think Anthony Joshua beats him. I think Fury hasn’t looked great in last couple where he’s took, like, five years out. You can’t just take five years out in a fighting sport and think you’re going to come back just as good.”
The fight is currently scheduled for December 11 at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff. Manny Pacquiao is being targeted for an appearance on the undercard, as well as a potential heavyweight showdown between Jai Opetaia and Deontay Wilder.
