Meskini Brings PFL Experience
Meskini comes into the fight with an 11-3 professional record. The featherweight has already fought four times inside the PFL cage, posting a 3-1 record with the promotion.
This experience gap could prove important for Brachet, who will be making his promotional debut. Meskini knows the PFL ruleset and has already established himself within the organization’s featherweight ranks.
The bout will take place on the undercard of PFL Lyon’s main event. Taylor Lapilus and Mitchell McKee will headline the card in a bantamweight championship fight.
PFL Lyon Card Takes Shape
The December 19 event represents the PFL’s final show of 2026. The promotion is returning to the LDLC Arena in Lyon for the card.
Several other fights have been confirmed for the event. Bryan Battle meets Boris Mbarga Atangana in a middleweight bout, while Abdoul Abdouraguimov faces Andreeas Binder at welterweight.
Fabian Edwards will clash with Ilian Bouafia in another middleweight matchup. The bantamweight division features multiple bouts, including Baris Adiguzel versus Liam Gittins and Jan Cieplowski against Mauricio Partida.
Brachet will be fighting in front of a home crowd as a French fighter competing in Lyon. The hometown support could provide an advantage for the promotional newcomer.
The PFL announced the Brachet-Meskini matchup on October 7, 2026. Tickets for the event are currently available for purchase through the promotion’s official channels.
Brachet’s seven-fight winning streak dates back through his career outside the PFL. He will look to extend that run to eight consecutive victories in his organizational debut.
Meskini’s lone loss in the PFL came during his four-fight stint with the promotion. He has won three of his four appearances and will aim to derail Brachet’s winning streak.
The featherweight bout adds depth to the PFL Lyon card. With seven fights currently announced, the promotion continues to build out its final event of the calendar year.
Brachet fights out of France and has spent his entire career based in his home country. The December 19 bout will take place at 145 pounds in the featherweight division.
