The young fighter last competed in March when he won a unanimous decision over Julio Arce. That victory extended his unbeaten streak to eight consecutive wins.
Pergande Welcomes Challenging Opponent
Pergande expressed enthusiasm about the matchup with Magomedov. “I love this matchup because it’s another good name to have in my record,” he said about the fight.
Magomedov enters the bout with a 10-2 professional record. The lightweight fighter last competed in July 2025 when he lost a unanimous decision to A.J. McKee.
The fight represents Pergande’s first appearance at lightweight and his international debut. He will be fighting for the first time outside American soil in Dubai.
PFL Dubai Card Takes Shape
The Nov. 14 event will be headlined by a heavyweight championship fight. Vadim Nemkov will defend his title against Sergey Bilostenniy in the main event.
Several other bouts have been confirmed for the card. Oleg Popov will face Pouya Rahmani in one matchup.
Asael Adjoudj is scheduled to fight Movlid Khaybulaev. Rhys McKee will take on Ernesto Rodriguez in another bout on the card.
The event will air on ESPN2 from the Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This marks another international expansion for the Professional Fighters League.
Pergande’s decision to move up in weight represents a calculated risk for the undefeated prospect. The lightweight division offers more opportunities for high-profile fights.
Magomedov presents a dangerous test for Pergande’s first outing at the higher weight class. The Russian fighter has only two losses in his 12-fight professional career.
The matchup gives Pergande a chance to prove himself against experienced competition. Magomedov’s loss to McKee came against one of the sport’s top fighters.
PFL announced the fight on October 5, 2026, via social media. The promotion highlighted the lightweight division’s interest in the matchup.
Tickets for PFL Dubai are currently available for purchase. The event represents the promotion’s continued efforts to host fights in international markets.
Pergande has never fought outside the United States since beginning his professional career. The Dubai event will test how he performs in an unfamiliar environment against a tough opponent at a new weight class.
