Charles Oliveira will defend his BMF championship against Diego Lopes in the main event of UFC 335 on December 12 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The UFC announced the matchup during Saturday’s UFC 332 event.
Oliveira captured the BMF title at UFC 326 in March when he defeated Max Holloway by unanimous decision. The former lightweight champion now holds a record of 37 wins, 11 losses, and one no contest overall.
Before winning the BMF belt, Oliveira forced Mateusz Gamrot to submit to a face crank at UFC Fight Night 261 in October 2025. This will mark his first defense of the BMF championship.

Lopes Makes Move to Lightweight
Diego Lopes will be making his lightweight debut after competing at featherweight throughout his UFC career. The Brazilian fighter currently holds a UFC record of 7-3.
Lopes most recently defeated Steve Garcia with a second-round knockout at the UFC White House event. He had previously lost a one-sided decision to Alexander Volkanovski in their rematch at UFC 325.
With a professional record of 28-8, Lopes represents Lobo Gym MMA. He has been a two-time title challenger at 145 pounds before deciding to move up in weight.
Pereira Seeks First Heavyweight Victory
The co-main event features former two-division champion Alex Pereira taking on Sergei Pavlovich at heavyweight. Pereira will be looking for his first win in the division.
Pereira failed to become a three-division champion when he lost to Ciryl Gane at the UFC White House event in June. The Brazilian star holds an overall UFC record of 10-3.
Pavlovich enters the fight with momentum after knocking out Tallison Teixeira just 39 seconds into their bout at UFC Macau. The Russian heavyweight has a UFC record of 9-3 and an overall record of 21-3.
The winner of Pereira vs Pavlovich could earn a shot at the heavyweight championship. Both fighters are considered top contenders in the division.
The UFC 335 card will also feature a middleweight bout between rising contenders Bo Nickal and Joe Pyfer. The two fighters are considered rivals in the division.
UFC 335 takes place on Saturday, December 12, 2026, at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The event will be available live on Paramount+.
