Two middleweights desperate for a win will square off on the main card of UFC 330 Saturday night at Xfinity Mobile Arena in Philadelphia. Mansur Abdul-Malik faces Dustin Stoltzfus in a bout where the betting odds have raised questions among analysts.

Abdul-Malik enters the octagon as a massive -700 favorite according to current UFC odds. His opponent Stoltzfus is listed at +450, making him a heavy underdog.

Abdul-Malik is looking to bounce back from the first loss of his professional career. In March, he suffered a third-round TKO defeat against Yousri Belgaroui at his previous appearance.

The 28-year-old started his career with an impressive 8-0 record. However, he has won just once in his last three fights, with a first-round submission victory over Antonio Trocoli at UFC 323.

Stoltzfus brings more experience into the cage with 24 professional fights. The 34-year-old veteran currently rides a two-fight losing streak after defeats to Nursulton Ruziboev and Kelvin Gastelum in 2025.

His most recent win came in November 2024 when he stopped Marc-Andre Barriault in the first round. Despite his 3-7 UFC record, Stoltzfus has proven durable, going the distance in both of his recent losses against higher-ranked opponents.

    Abdul-Malik’s Slow Starts Raise Concerns

Betting analysts have identified a pattern in Abdul-Malik’s recent performances that makes the heavy favorite status questionable. The prospect has struggled to start fights strong, often dropping the first round before rallying later.

In a fight where he was a -1250 favorite against Nick Klein, Abdul-Malik still lost the first round. Against Cody Brundage as a -900 favorite, he arguably lost the first two rounds before settling for a draw.

Three of his last four fights have gone over 1.5 rounds. His striking output remains low, and he has failed to finish fights as quickly as expected given the betting lines.

Abdul-Malik trains at Xtreme Couture MMA under coach Eric Nicksick. At 6-foot-2, he holds a nearly five-inch reach advantage over the 5-foot-11 Stoltzfus.

    Betting Markets and Expert Predictions

The total rounds market is set at over/under 1.5 rounds, with the over priced at -140. Analysts view this as one of the better betting values on the card.

Stoltzfus has been finished in under 1.5 rounds only twice in his seven UFC losses. His durability record suggests he can survive the early rounds even if outmatched.

The fight going the distance is priced at +150. Neither fighter is considered a big finisher, making a decision outcome a realistic possibility.

MMA Junkie analyst Dan Tom predicts Abdul-Malik will apply smart pressure and find a finish in Round 2. However, betting experts have called the moneyline “overinflated” and suggested the underdog represents value.

The fighters are expected to walk to the cage at approximately 9:40 p.m. ET. The bout will stream live on Paramount+ as part of the UFC 330 main card.
