Conor Benn secured a decisive unanimous decision victory over Chris Eubank Jr in their rematch at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The 29-year-old fighter won by scores of 119-107, 118-108, and 116-110 from the three judges.

The fight took place almost 35 years after their fathers, Nigel Benn and Chris Eubank Sr., first stepped into the ring together. Their fathers’ rivalry defined British boxing in the 1990s with a controversial draw in their 1993 rematch.

Benn entered the fight looking to avenge his loss to Eubank Jr from their first meeting in April. That fight saw Eubank Jr win by points decision after Benn struggled with the size difference.

This time, Benn looked comfortable at the middleweight limit. He moved well and threw varied punches throughout the contest.

The fight started with Eubank Jr trying to establish his jab and movement. He threw right crosses and moved from side to side in the opening round.

Benn found success in the second round with a left-right combination. Eubank Jr pushed him over in response to the attack.

    Benn Takes Control

Benn targeted Eubank Jr’s body with hooks throughout the middle rounds. He landed a sharp left that caught Eubank Jr’s chin cleanly.

The smaller fighter worked his way upstairs with successful one-two combinations. Benn launched attacks from the center of the ring with growing confidence.

Benn landed punches with increasing regularity as the rounds progressed. Eubank Jr struggled to match the intensity he showed in their first fight.

In the seventh round, Benn connected with a huge one-two to Eubank Jr’s chin. Eubank Jr fired back but Benn finished the round taunting his opponent with a smile.

Benn continued his assault in the eighth round with spite. His cross hit Eubank Jr’s stomach while his jab scored high.

Eubank Jr had to clinch to stop Benn’s attacks. In the final 30 seconds of the round, Eubank Jr pushed forward with his right cross.

    Late Knockdowns Seal Victory

Benn maintained his dynamic boxing style in the later rounds. He kept his shape while throwing punches as Eubank Jr tried to slug back.

In the final round, Eubank Jr forced himself forward while swinging. He needed a knockout punch to win the fight.

Benn landed a hard right that caught Eubank Jr clean. The pace picked up as both fighters exchanged strikes.

Hard punches from Benn shook Eubank Jr and left him wobbling. He toppled over for the first knockdown of the fight.

Benn went after him with wild hooks as the stadium erupted. His right hand smashed in straight before he knocked Eubank Jr over a second time.

Eubank Jr made it through to the final bell. Benn had secured a clear decision victory.

Both fighters embraced after the final bell. Benn said afterward, “I feel like this is the end of the Benn-Eubank saga. It’s done and finished. It’s over. This ends here.”

Eubank Jr acknowledged his opponent’s performance. “The kid fought hard. He fought tough. He’s got power,” Eubank Jr said. “Conor Benn was the best man tonight.”

The fight concluded with both men having one win each in their rivalry. Benn’s career had stalled after testing positive for clomifene before their originally scheduled 2022 bout.
