UFC 274 Fight Card: Start time, fight date, and updated bout order

    Jake NicholsBy Jake NicholsMay 5, 2022Updated:May 8, 2022No Comments3 Mins Read

The UFC 274 fight card has been finalized before this weekend’s event at the Footprint Center in Phoenix, Arizona.

UFC 274 will feature two title fights with Charles Oliveira vs. Justin Gaethje booked for the UFC Lightweight Championship and Rose Namajunas vs. Carla Esparza scheduled to fight for the UFC Women’s Strawweight Championship.

Both title fights and the entire main card will air only on ESPN+ in the United States. This means that fight fans are required to order the UFC 274 PPV to watch every fight live this Saturday night.

The UFC 274 fight card has undergone significant changes since it was first announced. The event was moved to Phoenix, Arizona, after it was initially scheduled to take place in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The fight card was also set to be headlined by Glover Teixeira vs. Jiri Prochazka in a battle for the UFC Light Heavyweight Championship but that fight was later rescheduled to UFC 275.

The most recent change to the UFC 274 fight card is the addition of Andre Fialho vs. Cameron VanCamp. Fialho makes a quick turnaround following his victory against Miguel Baeza on April 16 and will enter the Octagon for the third time in 2022 when he faces VanCamp this Saturday night. VanCamp will be making his UFC debut at UFC 274 after his first scheduled bout against Nikolas Motta fell through last year.

Fialho vs. VanCamp’s inclusion will bump the UFC 274 fight card up to a total of 15 fights. The larger fight card now means that we’ll have an earlier than usual start time of 5:30 pm ET / 2:30 pm PT with all early prelims and preliminary card airing on ESPN+.
