Khamzat Chimaev targets July return against Neil Magny

UFC welterweight Khamzat Chimaev has revealed his intentions to return in July.

Brett Okamoto of ESPN reported the news yesterday, sharing that Chimaev is targeting a fight with Neil Magny now that Chimaev is planning to start training once again in April.

“He’s probably going to start training in the middle of April, and is looking to fight in the beginning of July,” Chimaev’s manager told ESPN. “He’s still getting medical treatment on a daily basis, but he is doing much better. Neil Magny is the guy we have in mind as an opponent, but let’s see what happens.”
