As for the fight, Wells anticipates a close fight this weekend. He can’t see either fighter dominating the fight and believes that Gaethje has that right amount of crazy in him to come out on top. He’s picking the underdog, Gaethje, to win this one.
Riggs also feels like Gaethje matches up really well with Nurmagomedov and admits that his DGAF attitude really matters here. But, for now, he feels like it’s impossible to back against Nurmagomedov, who has been unbeatable in his career so far and looks unbeatable going forward, as well.
Walker is also struggling to pick against Nurmagomedov. He feels like it’s stupid to pick against him at this point. Walker feels like Tony Ferguson is actually a more dangerous opponent for Nurmagomedov, but does see Gaethje as being a challenge for the champion. He’s picking Nurmagomedov to win but feels like, either way, this fight won’t be close. He feels like someone is getting steamrolled this weekend.
