Should Dustin Poirier fight Charles Oliveira or Michael Chandler next?

It’s time to sort out the UFC lightweight division.

At UFC 257 last weekend, Dustin Poirier knocked out Conor McGregor and became the top-ranked active fighter in the 155-pound division. If it wasn’t for Dana White’s obsession with attempting to bring back Khabib Nurmagomedov, Poirier would likely have the official UFC Lightweight Championship to his name, as well.

But Poirier’s now the uncrowned champion of the lightweight division and he needs an opponent.

So, should it be Michael Chandler? Who knocked out Dan Hooker in the first round of his UFC debut? Or should the UFC look to Charles Oliveira? The fighter who just dominated Tony Ferguson and defeated Kevin Lee to increase his win streak to eight.
